As part of its contribution to the development of art in Nigeria, the Foundation instituted its Scholarship Scheme in 2004 with an endowment of $10,000 by Chief Arthur Mbanefo FCA, MFR, CON, the Odu of Onitsha. It further received a boost of one hundred thousand naira (N100, 000) in 2006, from Chief Mrs Opral Benson MON, the Iya Oge of Lagos and fifty thousand naira (N50, 000) from Chief Joop Berkhout OON. So far, there have been six recipients of the award for the Most Outstanding 2nd Year Visual Art student in tetiary institutions in Nigeria the amount of $400 namely:
